When I was thirteen I really wanted to go to a camp of any kind. Upon searching, my mom and I found that most of them were too expensive, or too far away. One day, my friend kylie was talking about her camp, and interested I asked her a few questions. Eagerly I asked my mom if I could go. She said yes. So a friend of my mom's took us to temple pageant, so I could learn a little about the church, and then I went off to Camp Liahona with Kylie and had the time of my life. I met so many people and heard so many testimonies of the church. I really felt the spirit and I accepted everything I had learned ad the truth.

When my mom picked me up that Saturday, I told her all about my exciting week and she shared some exciting news of her own. While I had been gone, the friend of my mom's had invited my entire family over to watch a movie and have a barbeque at another ward member's house. They went, were interested, and accepted the invitation to go to church the next day. I was so excited. Anyway, we took the missionary discussions, and six weeks later my family joined the church (with the exception of my younger sister who was baptized on our one year anniversary, when she had turned 8).

I know this church is true and I love everything about it. I love the scriptures, the power of prayer, and most of all the members.
