I told the researchers at OHSU the following in an email: "I'm excited you are interested in doing a study using massage chairs. I know Panasonic is not interested in pumping in a lot of money, but what if I could get several different massage chair manufactures or distributors/larger retailers such as Brookstone, or Relax the Back to participate? With more companies involved it might be easier to raise the $75,000 needed for a study. Also, different chairs act completely differently, for example I love the Panasonic chair, but Kellie likes the Interactive Health and I-Joy chairs."
